Creating a seamless felted garment of this quality demands advanced knowledge of textile construction, fiber behavior, and shrinkage ratios, as wool can shrink up to 40% during the felting process. The mastery of this technique allows the artisan to craft a fully functional, form-fitting piece that is both durable and comfortable to wear.

Anja Musek says that her medium of expression is wool, and that she finds inspiration mainly in nature. Škofja Loka was also known for hatmaking, where the knowledge of wet felting was used by hatters to make the bases for their hats.
