Wood and wood scraps Petra gets or buys from carpenters; sometimes she buys small boards from local farmers, especially if they have pear wood; sometimes she buys a piece of log, preferably pear.

The bowl has a machine-turned centre (made by the craftsman Janez Jankovec) and the rim is hand-carved with chisels. The bowl is oiled and stacked.

Decorative. The bowl is occasionally used to put small breads in it (workshops).

Petra made the bowl for herself: at workshops and fairs, small bread rolls are put in a bowl to be eaten.
