<item_type_metadata:technique>These types of products are manufactured in large quantities at a time, as this is the only way to make the work profitable. First, the steel is cut into pieces. The hot material is processed under a spring hammer. First the hole for handle is made, followed by processing to the basic shape. Processing to the final shape includes hardening, grinding, polishing, and coating. The first stages are already prepared so that when an order is received, work can be completed quickly and the products can be delivered to the customer as soon as possible. Therefore, some products are half-finished, while others are almost complete. They forge continuously, even for stock that is sufficient for two years or even more.</item_type_metadata:technique>

<item_type_metadata:conecept>Blacksmithing has been a family craft for seven generations; production still takes place in the traditional way, with each piece passing through the hands of blacksmiths who work it by hand.
