Conecept

The use of local wool from old sheep breeds that are adapted to the climate and landscape as a way of preserving animals that pre-date industrialized production, makes customers feel more connected with the culture and the land. The landscape also benefits from traditional ways of sheep herding, that do not use any chemically-produced fertilizers. For sheep farmers, this is a way out for the derivate of their main industry. The hand-knitted sweaters from Lofoten wool Both the tourists who look for an exclusive, locally made and usable souvenir, and the people who buy the yarn to craft their clothes look for the feeling of doing something good for the planet and the local economy. The branding names of the wool also refer to the evocating cultural and natural elements of the region.
