The Isle of Harris Distillery was started in 2015 as a sustainable future-proof method of creating jobs and opportunities in Lewis and Harris. It is an attractive opportunity for young generations to return back to their Hebridean homes, countering the long-term decline in population on the island. Both gin and whisky are produced here.
