Technique

A slab technique where the clay is rolled to about 0.5 cm thickness and a circle is cut. The plate is formed on a dome and the foot is fastned. When the plate is hard as leather it's engoved, and when that in turn dries the pattern is scraped. Two holes are made in the foot to be able to mount the plate to a wall. The plate is dried, burned to 950 degrees, glazed with a transparent glaze and burned to about 1100 degrees.
