Metal sculpture of a sea eagle, a predatory seabird native to Lofoten. The bird stands on a naturally rounded base stone, holding a fish in its talons. The object has a golden sheen, which is the result of brushing brass to a hot surface. The object is signed and marked with a year of making on the buttom of the base stone.

The practitioner buys metal from a distributor in Harstad, the stones are havested by Tor-Vegard in Finnmark.

The object was made with hot and warm forging by hand and mechanical hammers, and welding. The sculpture is fastened onto a base stone.

Small scale production. Each product is formed by Tor-Vegard,one by one. Each piece is individual and unique.

The sea eagle is a majestic bird in Lofoten, the product was introduced by Tor-Vegard in the forge, after the emblematic cormorant statues. He worked for years on developing the shape and introducing it to visitors and customers of the forge, around 1998.
